The publication scheme

As a public authority, we are subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) and are required to maintain a publication scheme which describes the information available and where it can be found. The requirements for a publication scheme are set up by the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) and our publication scheme is based on the ICO model scheme.

Our publication scheme

The information within our publication scheme is grouped by the following classifications:

Who we are and what we do

What we spend and how we spend it

What our priorities are and how we are doing

How we make decisions

Our policies and procedures

Lists and registers

The services we offer

Information not included in our publication scheme

There are some circumstances when information will not be routinely available. For example where the information is not held or is archived and not readily available, or the disclosure of certain information that is protected by law. Further information on the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and Data Protection Act 1998 can be found on the ICO website.

Making an application for other information

You can ask for information which is not already published elsewhere nor exempt under the FOIA on our making a freedom of information request page.
