Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service are pleased to offer award winning business support services to the county's business community.
Every year the service goes out to numerous fires affecting every type of company from small family run businesses to large production factories and storage warehouses.
Some of these fires have been extremely severe, meaning the businesses are still yet to get back on their feet. The knock on effects are also massive – a fire affecting one business can in turn impact on suppliers, retailers and some people find themselves out of a job whether it be temporarily or in other cases permanently. Up to 60 per cent of small businesses do not recover from a severe fire.

Training Courses
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service provide high quality fire safety training courses. The courses are both theoretical and practical, and are designed to reduce risk in your business. These can be delivered on site or at the Service’s Headquarters site near Stone.

Resources
The Resilient Business Software Toolkit is a free resource that that offers practical advice and support to small and medium sized enterprises. Leading insurers have contributed to this toolkit which is administered by the Fire Protection Association. The business service support team can help organisations that need assistance in completing the toolkit.
