Long service awards for firefighters
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service has honoured its longest serving members of staff at a presentation evening.
The ceremony recognised operational staff who have completed 20 years of outstanding service to the public through the presentation of Long Service and Good Conduct Medals.
The medals were awarded by Vice Lord Lieutenant James Leavesley DL and Deputy Police Fire & Crime Commissioner, Helen Fisher, at Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service headquarters on Thursday evening (28 April).
Chief Fire Officer, Rob Barber said: “The years of commitment shown by those receiving long service awards is really inspiring.
“Thank you all for the contribution you have made and continue to make to ensure Staffordshire is a safe place for people to live, work and visit.”
Deputy Commissioner Helen Fisher said: “It was wonderful to spend time with these dedicated members of Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and their families, celebrating their commitment to protecting our communities.
“I thank them for the work they do to keep us all safe.”
