Firefighters respond to two-vehicle collision

Firefighters were called at 1.35pm to Turnhurst Road, Packmoor on Thursday (23 December) following reports of a collision.

Crews from Sandyford and Hanley attended and found a two-vehicle crash.

Fire fighters used specialist equipment to remove two male casualties from separate vehicles.

They were conveyed to hospital by the ambulance service.

Crews made the area safe and left the scene at 3pm.
