Firefighters free man and woman from car following M6 collision

Firefighters were called at 9.14pm on Thursday (30 December) to M6 northbound between junctions 14 and 15 following reports of a one-vehicle collision.

Crews from Burslem, Newcastle and Stafford attended and found a vehicle on its side.

Firefighters used specialist equipment to free two casualties from the vehicle.

They were conveyed to hospital by the ambulance service.

Crews made the area safe and left the scene at 9.50pm.

The incident was left in the care of Staffordshire Police.

Inquiries are ongoing.
