Firefighters extinguish deliberate car fire

We have extinguished a car fire in Stoke-on-Trent this morning (Friday 9 February).

A crew from Sandyford went to an address on Holland Street, Tunstall, just before 6.15am and found a red Toyota Yaris well-alight.

We used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire just after 6.30am.

No one was injured.

Shortly after, we deemed the fire to have been caused deliberately.

The incident has been left with Staffordshire Police.
