Fire crews extinguish fire at home

We have extinguished a deliberate fire at a home in Stoke-on-Trent.

Crews from Hanley, Newcastle and Sandyford went to a house off Rectory Road, Shelton, just after 7pm on 16 February.

We found a small fire on the ground floor of the property and extinguished it shortly after our arrival.

We also used ventilator to clear smoke from the address.

Thankfully, no one was injured.

The fire was deemed to be caused deliberately.

Crews left the scene just after 9pm and the incident has been left with Staffordshire Police.
