Crews tackle accidental house fire

A number of crews tackled a house fire in Burton-on-Trent yesterday (Monday 8 July).

We were called to an address on Swannington Street just after 12pm after the fire spread from a caravan to a house.

Crews went to the scene with support from Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service.

Colleagues from Staffordshire Police also attended to help with traffic control.

One person was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The fire was later extinguished and was deemed to be accidental.
