Three crews tackle fire on Etruria Vale Road

Fire fighters responded to reports of a fire on Etruria Vale Road, Stoke-on-Trent, at around 4:10pm on Sunday (19 December).

Crews from Hanley initially attended, arriving at the scene in eight minutes, and discovered a commercial premises well-alight.

Further fire fighters from Leek and Rising Brook attended the scene a short time later.

Upon arrival, crews found that the fire had spread to a nearby mini-bus parked adjacent to the property.

Fire fighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire at 4:50pm.

No one was injured.

Enquiries into the cause are ongoing.
