One week to go ahead of fun-filled Tamworth Belgrave open day

There is only one week to go ahead of our fun-filled family open day at Tamworth Belgrave fire station this month.

The station, on Marlborough Way, will be opening its doors to the local community from 10am until 4pm on Saturday 21 June. Between 10am and 11am there will be a sensory hour, with no loud sirens or flashing lights.

There is plenty going on for all the family to enjoy, including live safety demos, fairground rides, face painting and inflatables.

There will also be opportunities for visitors to chat with the people keeping you safe everyday and partner organisations to learn more about how we deliver community safety across Tamworth.

Station Manager, Danielle Coleman, said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming the community to our station this month.

“Lots of hard work has gone into organising the event and ensuring there is something for everyone.

“I would just like to remind people that there is limited parking at the station but there are around 200 spaces at Tamworth Enterprise College which is only a ten-minute walk away and parking is free.”
