Firefighters tackle Stafford business fire

Firefighters have extinguished a large fire at a business in Stafford.

We were called at 1.25pm yesterday (Tuesday 13 January) to a business on Gaolgate Street following reports of a fire.

Seven appliances and the aerial ladder platform (ALP) attended the scene and found a fire on the ground, first and second floors.

Crews used one main jet and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and nobody was reported injured.

An investigation into the cause of the fire will take place in due course.
