Firefighters tackle business fire

Fire crews have extinguished a fire at a business in south Staffordshire.

We were called at 3pm on Wednesday (3 September) to Innovation Way, Pendeford, following reports of a fire.

Crews used electrical equipment, hose reel jets and breathing apparatus to extinguish a fire within battery production machinery.

Thankfully, nobody was reported injured.

Following an investigation, the fire was deemed to have been caused accidentally.

Crews left the scene at 5pm yesterday (Thursday 4 September).
