Firefighters extinguish accidental fire at Burton business

Firefighters have extinguished a fire at a business in Burton-upon-Trent.

We were called to a premises on Kings Bromley Road, Alrewas, just before 8.20am yesterday (Wednesday 21 May) following reports of smoke coming from a building.

Five appliances attended the scene and used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

Nobody was reported injured.

The fire was later deemed to have started in the kitchen area.
