Crews tackle large business fire in Stoke-on-Trent

Firefighters have tackled a large fire at a business in Stoke-on-Trent.

Crews were called at 4.40pm on Friday (27 February) to a workshop on Sandbach Road, Cobridge, following reports of a fire.

Five appliances attended the scene and found six cars well alight.

The fire was extinguished using three main jets and nobody was reported injured.

Crews remained at the scene until 10.45pm to monitor hotspots.

Following an investigation, the fire was deemed to have been caused accidentally.
