Crews tackle fire inside Stoke-on-Trent business

Firefighters have extinguished a fire inside a business in Stoke-on-Trent.

Crews were called just after 9pm yesterday (Tuesday 24 March) to a shop on King Street, Fenton, following reports of a fire.

Three crews used breathing apparatus and used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

Nobody was reported injured.

The cause of the fire was deemed accidental, by an electrical fault.

Crews remained at the scene to dampen down hot spots before leaving at around 11.30pm.
