Crews tackle accidental fire inside derelict building

Firefighters have extinguished a fire inside a derelict building in Stoke-on-Trent.

Crews were called at 3.40am yesterday (Thursday 9 April) to Revanth Place, Shelton, following reports of smoke coming from the area.

Three appliances attended the scene and extinguished a small fire on the ground floor.

Nobody was reported injured.

The fire was deemed to have been caused accidentally, and crews left the scene at 5.10am.
