Crews rescue man and woman who fell from 40-foot incline

We have rescued two people in Stafford who fell from a 40-foot incline.
Crews went to woodland off Old Acre Lane, Brocton, just after 5pm on Friday (20 June) after two people suffered injuries.
Staffordshire Search and Rescue team, West Midlands Fire Service rescue teams and paramedics worked with crews to bring the man and woman to safety.
They were taken to hospital by colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Station Manager Rob Horton, who attended the scene, said: “We would like to remind people to take care in the outdoors this summer and be aware of potential hazards especially in areas with exposed cliffs or steep slopes.
“I would urge people to always wear suitable footwear when outside and take care around steep inclines.
“I would also remind people to use the What 3 Words app, as it provided crews with a precise location in this incident.”
