Crews extinguish deliberate secondary fire

Firefighters have recently extinguished a secondary fire in Stoke-on-Trent which was deemed to have been caused deliberately.

Crews were called at 8.50am yesterday (Wednesday 15 October) to land off Sneyd Hill, Burslem, following reports of a small fire.

One appliance attended the scene and found a campfire well alight.

The fire was extinguished using water backpacks and nobody was reported injured.

The fire was deemed to have been caused deliberately, and crews left the scene at 9.35am.
