Crews attend house fire in Meir

Crews from Longton and Hanley attended reports of a house fire in Sandon Road, Meir, last night (Sunday 20 December).

Smoke was coming from the building but no-one was inside.

A woman was treated by the ambulance service at the scene.

The fire was extinguished at 10.45pm.

A fire investigation remains ongoing.
