Three new fires engines to hit Staffordshire streets
Three new state-of-the-art fire engines are to soon hit Staffordshire streets.
One of the fire engines has recently gone on the run at Burton and a further two will be going to Cannock and Hanley fire stations in the coming weeks.
The new “Rosenbauer” appliances are fitted with the latest equipment to support firefighters at fires, road traffic collisions and rescues. They carry 2,000 litres of water, have ladders that can reach 10.5 meters and are fitted with CCTV.
Group Manager Chris Craddock said: “These three new state-of-the-art vehicles represent a significant investment in our frontline fleet and demonstrate our ongoing commitment to providing firefighters with modern, reliable and fit-for-purpose equipment.
“They are a visible demonstration of our continued investment in protecting both our communities and our people.”
