Three dogs rescued from house fire

Crews rescued three dogs from a house fire in Stafford on Sunday (21 June).

We were called at 12.55pm to a house on Trinity Fields following reports of a fire.

Three appliances attended the scene and found a house well alight.

Crews extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet and ventilated the property.

Three dogs were rescued from the home and received oxygen therapy at the scene. One of the dogs was taken to a vet.

Nobody was reported injured.

The cause of the fire was deemed to be accidental and crews left the scene just before 8pm.
