Shed fire extinguished

Firefighters have extinguished a significant shed fire in Cannock.

We were called at 4.15pm on Friday (30 October) to Norton Hall Lane, Norton Canes, following reports of smoke coming from a garden.

Five appliances attended the scene and found a single-storey shed well alight. The fire was also spreading to trees and a neighbouring garden.

Crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and thankfully nobody was reported injured.

The cause of the fire was undetermined due to the extensive damage caused.
