We have rescued a man and a woman from a car stuck in flood water in Kings Bromley.
Crews from Lichfield and Tamworth went to the A515 this morning (Friday 9 February) at 8.30am and found a black BMW stuck in flood water.
We used a water rescue sledge to rescue a man and a woman, who were not injured, from the car.
Our colleagues from Staffordshire Police also attended for traffic management purposes.
A road closure is in place and we are urging drivers to seek alternate routes and to not try and pass through the flood water.
