Large garden fire extinguished

Firefighters have extinguished a large garden fire in Lichfield.

We were called just after 7pm on Friday (26 June) to Rogerson Road in Fradley following reports that garden furniture was well alight. The fire had also spread to two houses.

Three appliances attended the scene and used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

One woman was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.

An investigation into the cause of the fire will take place in due course.
