Firefighters successfully extinguish house fire

We went to a home in South Staffordshire this morning (Tuesday 24 October) following reports of a house fire.

Crews from Penkridge, Rising Brook, Stone and Stafford went to home on Mill Lane, Acton Trussell, just before 8.20am this morning.

Staffordshire Police also attended for traffic management purposes.

We found a detached property well-alight and used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire by 9.50am.

Positive pressure ventilation was also used to clear smoke from the property.

No one was in the property at the time of the fire.

Crews remain at the scene.
