Firefighters rescue woman from car following serious collision

We have rescued a woman trapped in a car following a serious collision in Stafford.

 

Crews from Stafford, Stone and Penkridge, went to A5013 in the Walton area just before 2.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 20 February) after a white Vauxhall Mokka and a red Citroen Berlingo collided.

 

A woman was trapped in the Berlingo and firefighters removed the roof from the car using specialist equipment.

 

She was taken to hospital by paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service.

 

The drivers of the Berlingo and the Mokka were also taken to hospital.

 

The incident was left in the care of Staffordshire Police.
