Firefighters rescue two drivers trapped in vehicles after serious RTC

We have rescued two men who were trapped in their vehicles following a serious collision in Lichfield.

Just after 6.40am yesterday (Tuesday 7 November), we went to the A5 in Lichfield after two lorries and a car collided.

Firefighters from Tamworth and a rescue team from Longton used specialist equipment to cut out two of the drivers who were trapped in their vehicles following the collision.

After making sure everyone was safe, we left the scene in the hands of colleagues from Staffordshire Police.
