Firefighters called to house fire

We were called to a house fire this morning (Thursday 30 November) in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Crews, including Hanley, Newcastle and Sandyford, and Staffordshire Police went to a home on Wereton Road, Audley, just before 8am.

We found the house well-alight and at least one hose reel jet and three pumps were used to extinguish the fire.

Firefighters remain at the scene along with officers.
