Firefighters called to car fire

Firefighters were called to Lyneside Road, Biddulph, at around 12.10am this morning (Tuesday 8 March) following reports of a car fire.
A crew from Biddulph attended as did Staffordshire Police.
On arrival, the crew found a silver Audi A3 alight.
The fire was extinguished using two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets.
The fire was deemed as a deliberate ignition.
The crew left the scene at around 1.15am.
The incident has now been left with Staffordshire Police.
