Firefighters attend low-rise flat fire

Firefighters are currently in attendance at a low-rise flat fire in Stoke-on-Trent. 

Crews were called at 11.02am on Wednesday (6 April) to Tollgate Court, Trentham Road in Longton.

Firefighters from Hanley, Burslem, Cheadle and two crews from Longton are in attendance. 

Crews have conducted one rescue from a balcony. 

Firefighters have alerted the ambulance service to attend. 

Staffordshire Police are also in attendance and are conducting relevant road closures.
