Firefighters from a fire station in South Staffordshire are due to hold a car wash in aid of charity.

Crews will be on hand at Bilbrook and Codsall Community Fire Station, Duck Lane, Codsall, on Saturday (7 October) to get cars gleaming, all in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity.

Firefighters from Brewood, Kinver and Wombourne will also be joining in and there will even be a visit from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service mascot Welephant.

The station will be open from 10am until 3pm for drivers to attend to witness their vehicles being washed by the crews in exchange for a small donation to the charity.

And there will also be full firefighter kits on display for drivers to view.
