Fire inside derelict building extinguished

Crews have extinguished a small fire inside a derelict building in Stoke-on-Trent.

We were called at 5.35pm on Wednesday (10 May) to a building on Sturgess Street, Stoke.

Two appliances attended the scene and found a small fire on the second floor. The fire was extinguished using a main jet and nobody was reported injured.

The cause of the fire was deemed to be deliberate, and crews left the scene at 10pm.
