Crews rescue kitten from window ledge

Crews rescued a kitten who had got stuck on a window ledge in Stoke-on-Trent.

Firefighters were called to a home on London Road, Stoke, at 7pm on Thursday (24 September).

Jessy, a 10-month-old kitten, had climbed through a Velux-style window on the fourth floor of a property and got stuck on the ledge.

Jessy was enticed through a sky-light window and moved to safety.
