The aim of our Push the Button campaign is to promote the importance of smoke alarm maintenance and to make testing your smoke alarm part of your weekly routine.
How will you remember?
There are a number of ways that could help you remember to test your smoke alarm but perhaps the best way would be to subscribe to our email updates below. If you subscribe you will then receive a weekly reminder email to test your smoke alarm and if you wish you will receive updates from the service with useful information.
Alternatively why not set a reminder on your phone, test it when you watch your favourite TV programme or when you put the bin out.
Just make sure that you check it bleeps every week!
