Workshops

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service has its own in-house workshops based at Hanley in Stoke-on-Trent

The premises are integral with the Hanley Fire Station site and the workshops are responsible for the servicing and maintenance of the fleet of fire appliances plus the light vehicle fleet.
They also maintain the ladders, rescue equipment, light portable pumps, portable generators, hose reel tubing and branches plus a host of other essential pieces of firefighting equipment.

The workshops also manage and repair the complete lay-flat delivery hose stocks throughout the Service

Annual servicing and large repairs are carried out within the workshops premises with all safety inspections, minor servicing and repairs done on the various 30 fire stations located throughout the County of Staffordshire.
