Scania HDT ALP

This Scania/Bronto Skylift F30 HDT Telescopic Hydraulic Platform was built by Angloco of Batley.

The chassis is a Scania P113H 6x4 chassis cab.

The telescopic booms raise the rescue cage to a height of 28 metres giving operators the ability to rescue casualties as well as being used as a water tower using a remote controlled water monitor.

The Scania is fitted with an Allison 5 speed fully automatic gearbox, complete with built in hydraulic retarder, power steering and an antilock ABS braking system, giving maximum road handling and safety. It has a Scania 11 litre intercooled turbo diesel engine that produces 320-brake horsepower.
