Sabre ML200 Pump Rescue Ladder
Staffordshire Fire And Rescue Service have a number of Dennis Sabre pumping appliances in it’s fleet.

Some are kitted out as Pump Rescue Ladders and some as Water Tenders the main difference being in the type of main ladder carried.
These were built between 1995 and 2001. From 1997 the Sabres were purchased with the ML (medium length) cab providing extra space for the rear crew.

These appliances were built with bodywork either by John Dennis Coachbuilders of Guildford, Saxon Sanbec of Sandbach and Carmichael International of Worcester.

Sabre ML200 Pump Rescue Ladder/Water Tender (PRL/Wrt)


Engine: Cummins C Series 6 cylinder, turbo charged/intercooled 240bhp
Gearbox: Allison World Series 5 speed automatic with integral hydraulic retarder hydraulic retarder
Main Pump:
Godiva (Hale) World Series capable of delivering 3000 litres of water at a pressure of 10bars
Cab: ML 6 person Stainless Steel Cab/Crewcab c/w electric windows and central locking
Power Take Off: Chelsea side mounted power take off
Brakes: Front disc brakes with category 1 ABS anti-lock system
Drive Line: Traction Control
Suspension: Rear air suspension c/w air raise/lower
