WISH Event

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service will be attending a WISH event next Tuesday to promote the special fire safety equipment they have available for the elderly and vulnerable.

‘WISH,’ which stands for Well being, Independent, Safety and Health, promotes independent living for the elderly and vulnerable within the Tamworth area. The free event will provide the elderly, the vulnerable and their carers information about new technology and equipment that can improve their quality of life.

The event is to be held at The Wiggin Centre, Sir Robert Peel Hospital on 22nd July from 10am and 2pm. Other organisations attending the event are Tamworth Borough Council, Age Concern, Home Link, Tunstall Group, Social Care and the Tamworth Access Team.
