The Service has a Ceremonial Squad, made up of serving and retired personnel, which was formed in 1990. The squad represent Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service at remembrance parades, medal presentation, funerals, weddings and prestigious events. Annual events that the squad attend include the remembrance parades in Ypres, Belgium, the Firefighters Memorial Parade in London and mayoral parades in Stafford, Stoke and Newcastle.
