Staffordshire Arson Reduction Team

The Arson Reduction Team is a partnership between Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and Staffordshire Police. The team is lead by

Simon Craythorn,  Risk Reduction Manager - Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service
Andrew Bromley,  Business Crime/Arson Reduction Officer -Staffordshire Police

Arson reduction in Staffordshire is based on 4 themes

• Prevention
• Education
• Detection
• Investigation

The team is also part of the West Midlands Regional Task Force (WMRART) which includes Hereford and Worcester,  Shropshire, West Midlands and Warwickshire.

The WMRART will endeavour to improve its joint capability in securing funding to deal with arson across the region improving safety and quality of life in our communities.  All parties have a vision to make The West Midlands region a safer place to live, work, visit and invest
