In recognition of the forthcoming Equality Act which is likely to extend the Public Service Duties to promote equality and deal with discrimination to all six equality strands (Race, Gender, Disability, Sexual Orientation, Age and Religion or Belief) we have made a decision to produce a Single Equality Scheme and work has commenced on this.
