Renewable energy is at the top of the agenda for the Service in support of the County Council's strategy.  The Service has committed to achieve a 2%+ on year reduction in carbon emissions and a 60% reduction by 2050.

Final planning approval for the installation of photo-voltaic renewable energy provision at the Services Headquarters site has been approved.  This enables us to fit photo-voltaic tiles to our conference and training and development buildings, taking our first steps in self generation of energy.
