Introduction
As a public authority we are subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) and are required to maintain a publication scheme which describes the information available and where it can be found.
The requirements for a publication scheme are set up by the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) and our publication scheme is based on the ICO model scheme.
The Authority's publication scheme consists of information already published and held by the Authority or information that is to be published in the future. All information in the publication scheme is either available on the Service's website www.staffordshirefire.gov.uk to download and print off or available in traditional document format. Each section explains how the information is published and whether it is available free of charge or on payment.

The contents of each section does not include everything that we hold but is intended as a guide to inform the minimum amount available.

There are some circumstances when information will not be routinely available. For example where the information is not held or is archived and not readily available, or the disclosure of certain information that is protected by law:
