Terms of Reference for the Urgency Committee

The Committee consists of 5 members with a quorum of 3.

Note: Substitute members will be allowed subject to the Secretary being given prior notification.
 
Terms of Reference

To consider and decide on any matter that cannot, for good reason, await consideration at the next meeting of the Authority (or relevant Committee having power to act).  Any such decision shall be reported to the next meeting of the Authority.

Specifically, to consider and act on recommendations from the Regional Management Board.

To consider any “failure to agree” registered by any recognised trades union under the Authority’s disputes procedure, and to make decisions thereon.

Delegated Power – Full powers to act on any matters within its scope.

Reporting to: Minutes go to the Authority.

Frequency of Meetings

The Committee meets on an ad hoc basis.
