The Staffordshire Safety Plan (also known as the Integrated Risk Management Plan) outlines how the Service is going to move forward over the period 2008 – 2011. The aim of the plan is to make Staffordshire a safer place to live, work and visit.

The plan was created following extensive consultation with both staff and members of the public.

The Safety Plan comprises of five themes:

Theme A – Prevention and protection for our communities
Theme B – Working with business
Theme C – Risk based response
Theme D – Improving communications
Theme E – Committing to sustainable development

Every quarter a Safety Plan Update is produced which details the progress being made.
