  • All those Officers receiving more than 100K per year have agreed to waive their right to a pay increase for the last 2 years
  • Officers are ordinarily provided with an emergency vehicle for on call commuting only; however in a small number of cases private mileage is permitted, the cost of which is reimbursed by the Officer who pays company car tax accordingly. This benefit is fully reflected in the figures above.
  • Where an officer started or left mid year, the salary range indicates what they would have earned for the full year.
  • Watch and Crew Manager details above include additional roles for example retained duties, student fire fighter scheme and special project roles.
  • Seconded officers are employed by us but paid by other organisations
  • Our total number of staff is currently 1141, therefore 3% of our staff are paid over £50,000
  • We will be working to produce salary information for all staff in due course.
