Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service - Preventing, Protecting, Responding

First class fire education  

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service are committed to giving all of our county’s children first-class fire safety education, as well as providing extra time and resource to those young people who need it.

Like all of our safety activity, our focus has two main areas:

  • Preventing fire dangers arising
  • Responding when dangers do arise

So we don’t just work with caregivers and practitioners to educate our young people about fire safety and stop fires happening in the first place; we also dedicate considerable resource to deal effectively with those young people who are directly at risk from fire-related activity, for example, fire-setting children.
