Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service - Preventing, Protecting, Responding

First class fire education

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service is committed to giving all of the county’s children and young people first-class fire safety education, as well as providing extra time and resources to those most at risk.

In all our activity we strive to:

  • Reduce the number of fires, and fire related deaths and injuries
  • Reduce the numbers of road traffic collisions (RTC) and RTC related deaths and injuries

Our activity falls into three main areas:

Our firefighters regularly visit schools and clubs to educate young people about fire safety
Over recent years Fire and Rescue Services have started to examine the increasing problem of arson and fire related crime
